Tree change - Graphic and/or website design in the country in BARRAMORNIE, Queensland

Casual/contract graphic design, website design/front-end development and outside work is available for the period 8th July - 15th August (dates and duration of stay are flexible for the right person), to work in-house with us in our small business (graphic and website design).
This would suit a suitably skilled backpacker or a professional seeking some time away from their regular life for a break in the country (there would be time available to commit to your own continued freelance work). We may be interested in couples, for a shared workload (if one of you is a designer and the other would like to focus on the other tasks).
We live on a 4000 acre cattle farm near the small country town of Condamine. The closest main towns are Miles (55km) and Chinchilla (75km). It is 1.5 hours to Dalby, 2.5 hours to Toowoomba, and 4 hours to Brisbane. It's a lovely, peaceful place with lots of animals, beautiful open skies and lovely sunsets to admire on afternoon walks.
Work would generally be weekdays, and your role would be assist us (a young self-employed couple - no children) during a busy time. I run a graphic and website design business, so I am looking for someone with skills to help me with my work during this period.
As a graphic and/or website designer/developer, you would have demonstrated skills and experience in some or all of the following:
- Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop
- Wordpress
- HTML, CSS
- attention to detail
- a clean and modern style
Tasks would generally include (depending on your skill set):
Graphic design
- logo design/general branding work
- layout of magazine pages
- catalogue creation (using InDesign data merge)
Website design/development
- customising Wordpress themes
- content population
- website updates
General indoor and outdoor tasks
- feeding the pets/animals
- gardening
- house cleaning
- admin tasks (including answering the phone)
- general farm/outside chores
During early August, we would be doing plenty of cooking to prepare for a function we need to cater for, and you'd be required to help out on the day (the preparation may or may not need involve you, if there is design work to be done).
Ideally you'd have your own caravan or campervan, but we could look into accommodation options if you don't. Most weekends can be time off, and you are welcome to travel and explore the area.
